Oddballs Win Nail-Biter, 7-6
The 7-6 Ottawa win over Wilkes-Barre was due largely to Ken Foster. The Oddballs shortstop went 2-6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Charles Darlin came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 8-0. At 60-71, the Oddballs claim 7th place in the International League Northeast Division.

Foster had a game-changing home run in the top of the 13th. On a 2-2 sinker from Joseph Hall, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Oddballs a 7-5 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Foster.
