Mariners Get Clutch Win Versus Montreal
The 2061 season is getting uglier for Montreal.

The Seattle Mariners locked up a win at T-Mobile Park, knocking off the Montreal Expos, 4-3. On the mound for Seattle was right-hander R.J. Luther. He played a major role in the triumph. At 28-18, the Mariners claim second place in the American League Alvarado Division.

The Mariners were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 25-year old left fielder D.J. Lerman landed a big blow. He turned a 2-2 fastball from Brent Windham into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the T-Mobile Park denizens into a frenzy and sent the Mariners home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"We've hit a lull," said Montreal manager John Sweeney.
