Blues Stumble, Lose to Yankees
The New York Yankees topped the Memphis Blues, 8-3, in Eastern Region action at Blues Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York right fielder Daryn Scott. Emmet Bayless closed it out for his 7th save. New York's record now stands at 21-25, placing them 5th in the Eastern Region North Division.

Jared Calhoun, the slick-fielding third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Calhoun contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put New York up, 1-0.

"I like the roll we're on," said New York manager Nate Williams.
