The Maine Grizzlies and Durham Bulls put on a pitchers' duel.

Dave Durand imposed his will on the Bulls from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 Maine triumph. The loss makes Durham 51-71.

Durand ran roughshod over the Durham lineup. The right-hander allowed just 1 hit over 8 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 7-5 on the season.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Durand said.
