Cubs Snag 5-2 Win
The Chicago Cubs picked up a win at The BeerGarden, taking down the Portland Hops, 5-2. Starting pitcher Duncan O'Reilly was a big reason why. The Cubs are now 22-23, while the Hops fall to 15-30.

Chicago used a timely hit from Nathaniel Pomares to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cubs ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Pomares. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
