Syracuse Scrapes Out 7-5 Win
Though he had a stellar game, Victor Castellon could not prevent his team, the Maine Grizzlies, from losing, 7-5, to the Syracuse Chiefs. Castellon was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jameson Armistead picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Jack Wright suffered the loss. The 'W' lifts Syracuse's record to 64-56.

Derek Torres delivered a big hit for Syracuse. The third baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Chiefs ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Torres said.
