Walk-Off Seals 69th Victory for Bisons

The Syracuse Chiefs could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Merv Ledlow into a win. Instead, the Buffalo Bisons prevailed, 3-1. Ledlow threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Buffalo is now 69-50, while Syracuse is 72-47.
The decisive blow was delivered by Graehme Britton in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Konstantin Yeomans to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.
"This place was jumping at the end," Britton said.
