Loss Tarnishes Fine Effort by Britton
Ottawa first baseman Graehme Britton had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 11-8, to Gwinnett at Coolray Field. Britton was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Gwinnett pitcher Bobby Larson earned the win, hiking his record to 2-2. Blake Robertson suffered the loss. Zachary Murch collected his 18th save.
