In a high-scoring game between Biloxi and Northwest Arkansas, second baseman Tye Blake was a difference-maker. The 23-year-old helped Biloxi grab the 11-10 win. He went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Esmil Medina, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. Vincente Torres earned the save for Biloxi, his 5th.

Biloxi used the timely hitting of Jaxon Davis to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shuckers on top, 11-10. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Blake told the Biloxi Today.

Northwest Arkansas is in the throes of a 11-game losing streak.
