Smokies Win at Rocket City, 4-1
|

The Smokies got a big at-bat from first baseman Connor Wable. For the game, Wable went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Tennessee a 1-0 lead.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Smokies manager George Chappelear, "I like our chances."
