Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Chattanooga Scouts and Montgomery Biscuits.

The Montgomery Biscuits earned a close win over the Chattanooga Scouts, thanks in part to Andy Maloney. The Montgomery left-hander played a key role in the 3-1 victory. The winner was Maloney. He threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was John Puron. Jayden Arria earned save number 2 this season.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Biscuits had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when second baseman Ximenes Armenta hit a 2-run single. The single came off John Puron and made the score 2-0, Biscuits. Armenta was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Armenta.

The Biscuits, at 59-38, sit in second place in the Southern League Southeast Division.
