Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Biloxi Shuckers and Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

Biloxi turned a good effort from starter Jeremy Curry into a win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Biloxi Grounds. The Shuckers won the game, 4-2. Lance Park was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 11 save opportunities.

Biloxi second baseman Ron Morgan contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 12th hit of the season and put the Shuckers ahead, 4-0.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Curry.

The Shuckers win now puts them at 65-33.
