The Rochester Norsemen downed the Durham Bulls, 6-1, at Frontier Field. Stellar pitching by Zach Martin had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the IL in quality starts with 11, handcuffed his opponent all game. The defeat makes Durham 60-51.

The Norsemen got a big at-bat from designated hitter Owen Celmer. For the game, Celmer was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Rochester a 4-1 lead.

"Zach was in control from the top," said Rochester manager Rich Soriano.
