Scranton Dundies starter Alvin Diego hurled his team past the Orlando Wizards, 3-0. Rueben Kaplanyan got credit for the save for Scranton. It was his 8th of the year. The third-place Dundies improved to 61-50.

Scranton used a clutch hit from Wyndham Giles to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dundies ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Scranton manager Dustin Bartholomew.
