The Las Vegas Knights and Fresno Falcons played an exciting game.

Las Vegas pitcher Jasper Ferreira did his part in helping his team defeat the Fresno Falcons, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Jason Towery got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings.

Leo De La Cruz, who finished 2nd in the NL in RBI with 148 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. De La Cruz contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-2.

After the game, Las Vegas manager Jason Geddis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The last-place Knights hiked their record to 19-25.
