San Francisco Giants starter Titus Pugh hurled his team past the Houston Astros, 7-0. Pugh got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. Getting the save was Charlie Frazer, his 1st.

Javin Hall had a big 2-run double for the Giants in the bottom of the first inning. With San Francisco leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Joey Baughey and swatted a double to right. It was his 44th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Giants ahead, 3-0.

"Titus did a nice job," said Giants manager Miles Waterbury.

The win for the Giants raised their record to 90-72.
