Reds Rally to Win, 4-3
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins.
Cincinnati starter Noah Kucala pitched well against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Gregg Stewart picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Simeon Ayala suffered the loss.
Cincinnati used a clutch hit from Julien Straton to snatch the win. The first baseman belted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Reds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Kucala after the game.
Minnesota has now lost 4 in a row.
