Rangers Win Nail-Biter

The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, knocking off the Fresno Falcons, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for Texas was right-hander E.J. Pulley. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Remington Lockard, credited with the win in relief, is now 8-6. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Texas is now 79-83, while Fresno is 78-84.
Texas got a knockout punch from Nils Sherwood. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We found a way to get it done," Sherwood said.
