Filardi, the 14th overall pick in the 2055 draft, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. J.B. Whitson got the win, improving to 10-9. He worked 8.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. With the victory, the Falcons record stands at 78-83.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Filardi told the Fresno News.
