Brandon Wright did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Indianapolis Ignition from losing, 7-3, to the Cleveland Indians at Tecumseh Field. Wright went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Dusty Sloan. He tossed 98 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The Indians got a big hit from shortstop Cory Martínez. In the bottom of the sixth, Martínez pounded a run-scoring double to left-center. His 18th double of the season put the Indians ahead, 5-3.
