The Texas Rangers and New York Yankees played an exciting game.
The Texas Rangers converted a terrific effort from starter Todd Smith into a win over the New York Yankees at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The Rangers won the game by a final score of 4-2. Smith, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk. The save went to Randy Flowers, number 8 for him.
