Barraza Goes Deep Twice in 7-2 Dodgers Win
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Vancouver Cascades, 7-2, with major props going to right fielder Thomas Barraza. On the day, Barraza went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Dodgers. Mike Watford picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-6 on the season. He struck out 1 and walked 2 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 1 run. Los Angeles now sports a record of 90-65.

Ron O'Neal had a big 2-run home run for the Dodgers in the bottom of the second inning. With Los Angeles leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Ean Holby, who finished 3rd in the AL in strikeouts with 215 in 2056, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Dodgers on top, 4-0.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Los Angeles manager Tommy Bushmaker. "Our pregame was pretty good."
