White Sox Squelch Cardinals Offense in Shutout Win
Chicago used a superb performance from starting pitcher Joe Oliver to down the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-0. With the win, Chicago upped its record to 83-71.

The White Sox got a big at-bat from catcher Uriel Mitcham. For the game, Mitcham went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Oliver.
