The Minnesota Twins powered past the Arizona Diamondbacks, 9-8, at Target Field. Juwan Fletcher provided some of the pop. Pepper went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The last-place Twins sport a record of 79-75.

Minnesota took the lead, 9-8, on Luke Ormond's 15th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Arizona pitcher Christopher Braun in the bottom of the eighth.
