In a low-scoring affair between the Cincinnati Reds and the Milwaukee Brewers, pitcher Osvaldo Ortiz was the difference between victory and defeat. The Cincinnati right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Reds win. In 7.2 innings, Ortiz surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Reds have a record of 78-75.

Cincinnati used a clutch at-bat from Johnny Honshorst to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Reds ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
