5 Straight Wins for Ignition
The Indianapolis Ignition had to overcome a fine effort from Milwaukee pitcher Alfred Brearley to grab a narrow 2-1 win at PepsiCo Park. Brearley went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Indianapolis reliever Archer Knowles picked up the win, upping his record to 8-4. Alfred Brearley took the loss. This win makes it 5 in a row for Indianapolis.

The Ignition got a big at-bat from left fielder Benjamin Nang. For the game, Nang went 2-3 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 23rd double of the season gave Indianapolis a 2-1 lead.

Nang said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
