The 7-3 New York win over New York was due largely to Lyle Stephenson. The Yankees left fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. With the win, New York upped its record to 80-68.

New York used a clutch at-bat from Enzo McKee to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Yankees ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
