The Charlotte-Ottawa matchup turned into a real hit parade.

The game was a shootout. To win it, the Charlotte Knights had to outpace the Ottawa Oddballs. The final score was 12-10, Knights. Neither team lacked hitting stars. For Charlotte, third baseman Yusmeiro Avalos was the foremost. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2.
