Lee Helps Chiefs Run Win Streak to 7
|
Syracuse played host to Wilkes-Barre at Victory Field.
The Syracuse Chiefs defeated the Wilkes-Barre Barons by the score of 10-3. Caleb Lee starred for Syracuse, going 3-for-5 with 1 home run. C.J. Jones, the winning pitcher, is now 3-7. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits, while fanning 5 and walking 4.
With Syracuse leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Lee hit a cutter from Kevin Lushbaugh for a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Chiefs ahead, 7-0.
