Chiefs Walk Off with 2-1 Win
Scranton wasted a solid 8.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Ashley Morales, losing to Syracuse, 2-1, at Victory Field. The winner was Justice Johnson in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Donny Sireci took the loss. The triumph puts Syracuse at 64-41 for the season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Ethan Redding in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Donny Sireci to win the game for Syracuse. The home crowd went nuts.

"I thought we competed really well," said Chiefs manager Abe Blowers. "I thought the energy was really good."
