Stu Tindall was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. The Reds sit in second place in the Eastern Region Great Lakes Division with a record of 21-21.
Cincinnati grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Kirkendall, who is on pace for 150 RBI this season, hit a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season put the Reds out in front, 5-3.
