Mud Hens Drop Close One Late
|
Ottawa second baseman Delwyn Cassell had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-5, in 13 innings. Ottawa, at 56-49, sits in 4th place in the International League Northeast Division.
The Oddballs got a clutch hit from first baseman Jared Owen. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Oddballs.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Cassell said.
