Chicago and Minnesota duked it out and the Cubs came out victorious.

The Chicago Cubs dealt the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 loss at Target Field. Ethan Wolfe was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times. Richard Neal earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 9-8.

Wolfe had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Hector Vásquez, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Cubs a 4-3 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for Wolfe.

Chicago manager Lorenzo Benitez called it "a good, solid win."

The victory gives Chicago a record of 80-65.
