The New York Yankees picked up a win at Savemart Center, knocking off the Fresno Falcons, 3-0. On the mound for New York was right-hander Stew Wiggins. He played a key role in the triumph. Cameron Manuel got the save, his 6th in 7 chances. New York has now won 5 in a row.

The Falcons had their hands full with Wiggins, who overpowered Fresno hitters while racking up 10 strikeouts.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Wiggins.
