Behind an impressive start by Isaac Munroe, Montreal beat St. Louis, 4-2. Montreal reliever Joshua Marks was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Vincente Santos took the loss. Montreal is now 77-67, while St. Louis is 81-63.

Sylvain Parent provided a timely hit. The Montreal designated hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Expos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Munroe.
