Marlins Pick Up 6-3 Win
The Miami Marlins picked up a win at LoanDepot Field, taking down the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-3. Starting pitcher Connor Halbig was a big reason why. Reese Dayo earned the save for Miami, his 3rd. The win boosts the Marlins to 98-46. The loss puts the Diamondbacks at 89-55.

Gerard Bandoh had a big 2-run double for the Marlins in the bottom of the second inning. With Miami leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Kenny Musgrave, who finished 5th in the NL in strikeouts with 176 last year, and swatted a double to left. It was his 39th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marlins ahead, 4-0.

"Connor can bring it," said Miami manager Jesse Dusseau.
