The Cincinnati Reds weathered a fine game by San Francisco center fielder Eduardo Aquilera to upend the Giants, 8-6, at Great American Ball Park. Aquilera was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Cincinnati pitcher Osvaldo Ortiz earned the win, hiking his record to 10-5. Maxwell Baxter suffered the loss. Cincinnati has now won 5 in a row.

Cincinnati got a clutch hit from Isaac Lee. The third baseman launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Lee said in his postgame press conference.
