6-3 Win Gets Cleveland to 92-50
The first-place Cleveland Indians took on the Vancouver Cascades in front of a spirited crowd.

The Cleveland Indians picked up a win at Tecumseh Field, knocking off the Vancouver Cascades, 6-3. Starting pitcher Roderigo Swartz was a big reason why. Cleveland pitcher Lee Shape got the win. He's now 3-0. Israel Heinrichs was tagged with the loss.

Cleveland took a 4-3 lead on Marshall Schaefer's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Schaefer hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Vancouver pitcher Israel Heinrichs visibly frustrated.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Schaefer told the Cleveland Bulletin.

The Indians improved their record to 92-50 with the win over Vancouver.
