Giants Beat Rangers, 5-0
|
San Francisco Giants pitcher Paul McIntosh was in fine form, leading his team past the Texas Rangers, 5-0. San Francisco, with the win, climbs to 14-27.
Solomon Ding dealt the Rangers a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and San Francisco leading 1-0, Ding, who finished 2nd in the EAST in doubles with 44 last year, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said McIntosh.
