Cope 5-for-6 Against Rochester
|
5 hits in a game is generally considered a noteworthy achievement, but for Arsen Cope, it felt rather hollow.
The 27-year-old went 5-for-6 at the plate at Chukchansi Park, but his Maine Grizzlies fell to the Rochester Norsemen, 12-9.
"It's hard to get too excited," the catcher told BNN following the game. "After a game like this, everyone's quiet and they just want to go home."
Arsen Cope grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
Cope on the season is batting .282 with 1 home run. His totals include 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 47 games.
