Wilkes-Barre turned a good effort from starter Fulgencio Ochoa into a win over the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Park. The final score was 6-2. Wilkes-Barre currently is in 6th place in the International League Northeast Division at 51-53.

Had Phillip Villarreal not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Villarreal hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Barons.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Ochoa.
