Bisons Score Late, Stun Red Sox, 2-1
|
The Pawtucket Red Sox wasted an inspired, 5-inning effort from starter Christopher Roberts, falling, 2-1, to the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Field. The Bisons move to 49-47 with the win, while the Red Sox drop to 45-51.
Wyatt Moore was the walk-off hero for Buffalo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bisons first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Said Moore: "What's not to like about a walk-off win?"
