The Scranton Dundies did just enough to sneak past the Newark Bears, 5-4, at Valiants Ballpark. Scranton pitcher Bradford Little, in particular, had a standout performance. Little got the win, improving to 7-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jeremiah Masias.

Vince Lu dealt the Bears a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Scranton leading 3-1, Lu hit a 0-1 fastball for a 2-run single.

Scranton manager Jameson Senchak praised his team's "no BS approach."

The International League Northeast Division-leading Dundies are 53-37.
