Clippers 7-5 Losers to Gwinnett
Behind the hitting of Eric Gehman, the Gwinnett Stripers stopped the Columbus Clippers, 7-5. Gehman went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Stripers. Jaxon Wilson closed it out for Gwinnett, earning his 9th save. Gwinnett goes to 39-48, Columbus to 48-39.

Junior McGowan had a big 2-run home run for the Stripers in the top of the third inning. With Gwinnett leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from Ted Carr, the 12th overall pick in the 2056 draft, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Stripers on top, 4-1.

"Banging out wins is what it's all about," said McGowan.
