The Orlando Wizards welcomed the Syracuse Chiefs to an night game at Victory Field.

The Orlando Wizards picked up a win at Victory Field, knocking off the Syracuse Chiefs, 5-0. On the mound for Orlando was right-hander Roarke Ambrose. He played a key role in the triumph. Ambrose yielded no runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 9-4.

Orlando used a clutch at-bat from Winfield York to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Wizards ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Orlando manager Derril Schunemann. "It's usually not just one thing."
