Brown Lifts Knights to 10-5 Triumph
The Charlotte Knights dumped the Wilkes-Barre Barons, 10-5, in large part due to catcher Easton Brown. On the day, Brown went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Knights. Fabian Galloway closed the door for Charlotte, picking up his 1st save of the year. The 4th-place Knights have won 5 in a row.

With Charlotte trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Brown hit a fastball from Salvador Esparza for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Knights ahead, 6-5.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Charlotte manager Zhu Yu.
