Toronto Rallies Past Cleveland, 2-1
|
In a tight affair between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians, pitcher Renny Leech was in the zone. The Toronto left-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Toronto leads the Eastern Region North Division by 10½ games.
Jackson Kilsdonk was the walk-off hero for Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Jays designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Leech said.
