Toledo and Columbus got after it at Huntington Park.
The Toledo Mud Hens defeated the Columbus Clippers, 7-2, in International League action at Huntington Park. Toledo pitcher Zach Fuentes had a standout performance. The win for the Mud Hens raised their record to 41-37.
Cameron Ray hit a bases-clearing triple off D.J. Thomas in the top of the seventh, which put the Mud Hens in front, 4-1. In addition to the triple, Ray had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"Zach can overpower you," said Toledo manager Peter Carter.
