Reds Make Falcons 6-3 Losers
|
The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Savemart Center, downing the Fresno Falcons, 6-3. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Guy Solana, who played a pivotal role in the win. The save was credited to Rusty Rha, his 5th. The Reds move to 17-23 with the win, while the Falcons drop to 16-24.
Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Ace Hill to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Reds ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"Everything felt in sync," said Solana.
