The Scranton Dundies beat the Norfolk Tides, 7-4, at PNC Field. Vince Lu starred for Scranton. He was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Steve Van den Bossche earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 4-1. With the win, the Dundies have a record of 41-37.

Lu had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Rudi Tharp, he banged a bases-clearing double to left, giving the Dundies a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Lu.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Lu, "and then get after it again."
