Buffalo Wins, 11-5, in 12 Innings
|
The Buffalo Bisons powered past the Durham Bulls, 11-5, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Bernard Lawson provided some of the pop. He went 5 for 6 with 5 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Juan Alverado picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-5. Vassily Andersen was tagged with the loss. The win hiked the Buffalo record to 40-26.
Ethan Dillon delivered a big hit for Buffalo. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Bisons ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Dillon.
